The main purpose of Symposium
is to survey recent advances, undertake stimulating discussions
and indicate modern trends and future directions in the field of
the High Temperature Mass Spectrometry.
A sample of topics includes:
- Thermodynamic studies of new high temperature inorganic materials (fullerenes,
oxide systems, alloys, rare-earth element compounds, superionic conductors
and other).
- Studies related to determination of thermodynamic properties of individual
compounds (the ionization potential, electron affinity and ionization
cross-section measurements; molecular structure and chemical bonding;
calculation of thermodynamic functions etc.)
- Kinetic studies of the ionic and molecular sublimation in the free
evaporation mode.
- New experimental techniques and data treatment approaches.
The subjects of Symposium may be extended by the Organizing
Committee upon the consideration of the abstracts submitted.
Time and location:
7-10 July 2003, Hotel Rus' , Plyos, Russia.
